Nestled in the woods near North Liberty, Iowa, this antenna can't be seen from the road, but is occasionally noticed by recreational boaters on Coralville Lake. Surrounded by beautiful woods and water in the eastern part of the state, the site experiences weather that runs the gamut from cold, snow, ice, and wind in the winter, to heat and high humidity in the summer.

The antenna plays host to many local learning institutions. Students from the University of Iowa, as well as other local colleges and high schools, often avail themselves of the opportunity to tour the facility. The public is also welcome to visit during regular work hours. The technicians will be happy to answer questions and give quick tours if time allows.
