This National Radio Astronomy
Observatory antenna is located 6,875 ft (2,095 m) high on Kitt
Peak, on the Papago Reservation southwest of Tucson, Arizona. It
is one of 22 optical and 2 radio telescopes on the mountain,
making Kitt Peak one of the world's largest collection of
telescopes.
