6.4 Pulse Cal

This system injects a series of pulses at intervals of 1.0 or 0.2 microseconds, to generate monochromatic, phase-stable tones at frequency intervals of 1 MHz or 5 MHz. The tones will be detected in the RDBE (Section 6.9) and in the VLBA DiFX correlator. Application of these measurements for phase calibration is discussed in Section 13.2.
