VLBA RFI Bulletin 33:  GPS Jamming Continues at WSMR in September:

Scheduled testing of GPS jamming equipment will continue at the White
Sands Missile Range during September, 2001.  The GPS jamming tests are
scheduled for every day this month.  Observers
using the VLBA-PT and VLBA-LA receivers should expect an increased
chance of RFI at the 2 GPS frequencies of 1575 MHz (L1) and 1228 MHz
(L2) during the scheduled jamming times.


The detailed schedule for September, 2001 follows:

Daily:		0000 UTC to 0400 UTC  and 2000 UTC to 2400 UTC

		except no testing on:

UTC Sundays:	2000 UTC to 2400 UTC and
UTC Mondays:	0000 UTC to 0400 UTC
