Site is short on disk space for the weekend so I don't want to switch to the other pack unless it's absolutely necessary. 0644 *KP Mark5 offlined then onlined, didn't clear up REC problem. 0649 *Rebooted KP Mark5 unit. REC 0652 *KP Mark5 back up and recording, though at the wrong REC data rate (512 instead of 256). 0653 Restarted scan at KP, Mark5 now recording at the right data rate. 0719 *Raining at SC. 0743 %PT HC2 FIFO errors. Shouldn't affect anything at 21522 this data rate. 0834-1413 *SC all kinds of ACU error messages suddenly, 22100 100 339 including "vertex room emergency stop" and "EL stow lock engaging". Getting several other error messages concerning EL. Putting antenna in standby. 0838 &SC tech Greg believes a water leak has shorted out 22100 something. He will investigate and see if he can clear the problem or get around it. 1003 *SC tech reports he can't do any more right now, he 22100 needs to work out on the antenna but there's no lights on the structure so he has to wait until after the sun comes up. 1005 *Since it's going to be a while yet, I'm shutting 22100 down the observing at SC. 1144 %PT HC2 FIFOs again. 21522 1413 SC would have ended here 1438 New operator is Heidi Gerhardt 1458 HN ends 1545 SC update: site tech called and said water got into 22100 the junction box and shorted out the EL #2 motor and is working on the repair. 1622 NL ends 1641 End.
