Getting repeated motor overspeed errors and the data are being flagged bad. However, the data may be good in that the rotation stalls out less than 1 count off. 0713-0721 *SC loss of commercial power. Antenna dropped out COM 100 8 of pointing mode. Generator started. Repointed. 0721-0957 *SC cryo compressor B shutdown as a result 15507 67 104 of the loss of commercial power. He pressure for compressor B has equalized. Following DEWARS / receivers are warming: 13cm, 6cm, 2cm, 1cm. Called oncall site tech at 0736 - wanted to make sure that the problem wasn't temporary or a readback issue. Site tech will go out to site and restart the compressor. 0752 Readback check ok 0756 SC B compressor has been reset. Recievers will start cooling down now. 0815-0818 *SC dropped out of pointing, commercial power COM 100 3 has been restored. Antenna 15508 100 33 dropped out of pointing. Attempted to repoint the antenna, it will not point. Looks like the 150 KW generator did not start up of if it did then there is a problem. Calling out site tech again. 1030-1032 SC loss of communciation with site - looks like the station computer rebooted. Called site tech, he reported that the station chatterbox just called him. He is heading to the site to see what is going on. 1054 SC other site tech has arrived. Found the 150KW generator not running. He started it. Informed him that I had called the oncall site tech. He (site tech on site) will try to reach the oncall site tech. 1054 SC wea: wet, windy, raining 1059 Readback check ok 1132 SC site tech has left the generator on and will monitor from home.
