From brunthal@mpifr-bonn.mpg.deThu Nov 29 09:18:34 2001 Date: Tue, 27 Nov 2001 11:21:03 +0100 From: Andreas Brunthaler To: vlbiobs Subject: BB142 Dear observers, our proposal BB142 was accepted for dynamical scheduling with a high priority preferably in October/November 2001, but no observation has been made yet. Maybe our requirements on the weather conditions are too tight and are never reached. To clarify our requirements I arrange the antennas in three groups: Group A: Mauna Kea, Hancock Group B: Brewster, North Liberty, Fort Davis Group C: All other antennas For our observatiosn we defenetely need the antennas in Group A and at least two antennas from group B with good weather conditions. Together we would like to have at least 7 antennas with good weather conditions. Then I will decide if we have to reobserve, But there is another problem. In our proposal we asked for two epoch of each source (IC10 ,BB142A&B, and IC133, BB142C&D). But the two epochs for each source should have some time in between (min 3 days) so we get uncorrelated atmospheres for the two observations. Now the first two observations of IC10 were done within 2 days. Please make sure that for BB142C & D there are at least 3 days in between. Best regards, Andreas
