It is not clear to us how long this activity will last. Cannon, New Mexico (USA) Air Force Base is supposed to let VLA Operations know before activities start. Here are frequencies affected: 1225 - 1270 MHz, 1340 - 1400 MHz, 2200 - 2290 MHz, 2300 - 2400 MHz, 2690 - 2704 MHz, 2714 - 2720 MHz, 2730 - 2735 MHz,2758 - 2880 MHz, 2855 - 2880 MHz, 4800 - 4990 MHz, 4990 - 5000 MHz, 7895 - 8030 MHz, 8030 - 8100 MHz, 8400 - 8500 MHz, 8500 - 8900 MHz, 8900 - 9000 MHz, 13400 - 13900 MHz, 14500 - 15300 MHz, 15400 - 15500 MHz The jamming is authorized at the frequencies listed until Oct 31, 96. If a complaint does occur, we can shut them down, since the authorization specifically says that the jamming can proceed at those frequencies as long as the exercise does not interfere with the VLA. Contact Clint Janes for further information and to make complaints.
