VLBI project GM060 was observed at C-band with the GBT. There were many problems. Summary: (Feb 17, 2006) 1200 - 1234 UT Problem with 5 MHz reference 1307 - 1340 UT Astrid hangup -- tracking J2106+213 1340 - 1640 UT Antenna parked due to high winds. 1845 - 1931 UT Astrid hangup -- tracking J2106+213 Some problem happened at the start of the run that seems to have been a momentary drop-out of the 5 MHz reference. Data from 1234 to 1340 UT are probably good, but the clock correction is large (about 9.28 ms !) but I believe the GPS data in the log file is correct. During the down time for high winds (1340-1640) we reset the timing module, so that after 1640 the clock correction is normal (about -900 ns). There were two occasions on which Astrid (the scripting language) hung up. This is a problem with a new software release and should be fixed soon. Because of this, the source J2106+213 was being tracked continuously during the times 1307-1340 UT and 1845-1931 UT, instead of switching back and forth between two sources. TSYS about 20-25 K. Phase cal levels looked good -- 2.5 to 3 percent. Tapes HST00310, HST00122, and SVLB0200 will be shipped to JIVE on Tuesday Feb 21. -- frank
