Repointed. WEA 100 1 2249 %NL dew point reading higher than air temperature. WEAST 2356 OV reports partly cloudy skies. 0000 Date is 2004DEC07/342. 0049 Power has been restored at KP, resuming observing. 0112 Readbacks okay. 0113-0242 *MK autostowing repeatedly due to high wind gusts, WEA 100 89 will wait for winds to die down somewhat before trying to point it again. 0131 %KP experiencing some high EL motor currents; no wind or precipitation showing at site so not sure what might be causing it. There is light rain at Tucson and it is near freezing at KP so there may be light freezing rain falling that is not registering on the weather station. 0142-0143 *Putting KP in standby mode briefly to see if AELEC 100 1 the EL motor currents would look more normal when repointed. No such luck. 0151 %KP anomometers appear to be frozen, there's been no indication of any winds at all, not even normal changes in wind direction readings. Appears to have been this way for the entire observation in fact. 0245 Readbacks okay. 0246 %Raining at MK. 0329 %Raining at SC. 0413 Readbacks okay. 0428 %Raining at NL. 0431-0433 *SC autostowed due to a commercial power loss, COM 100 2 operating on backup generator now. 0507-0709 *KP lost commercial power again. Antenna attempted to stow but an EL brake CD or interlock error has frozen it in the Stow state but it is not stowing. Calling out site tech. 0555 &SC tech on his way out. 15327 0629 *SC tech has managed to stow the antenna. Still on emergency generator and unable to point. 0644 New operator is Paul Dyer. 0648 SC End of file. 0709 End.
