VERY LONG BASELINE ARRAY OBSERVING LOG -------------------------------------- Project: BB246D Observer: Bobolz, D. Project type: VLBA Obs filename: bb246dcrd.* Date/Day: 2007AUG17/229 Ants Scheduled: SC HN NL FD LA PT KP OV BR MK =UT-Time===Comment===============================================MF#===%AD==AMD= Vclock, gps delta, UT1-UTC all OK. Operator is Betty Ragan. 2358 Begin at all stations except MK. 2358-0000 *PT autostowed. Looks like a power glitch. COM 100 2 0000 Date is 2007AUG18/230. 0005-0009 *PT stowed again. Getting AZ#1 and EL#1 COM 100 4 armature/electronics CB errors. These clear when it stows, but came back before it even got on source the first time I tried repointing. Weather forecast shows thunderstorms in the area. 0027 Begin at MK. 0023-0057 *SC suddenly lost power, seems to have been a COM 100 34 bit slow switching to the generator. Fire trouble flag triggered briefly, but has stopped now. Was seeing multiple errors involving the FRM, however. Called site tech (Greg) who suggested trying a master clear. This got rid of the errors, but all fields for the FRM show up as 0, no matter what commands it's given. Also, I tried pointing the antenna twice, and both times it immediately changed back to standby. Greg is going out to check it out. Removing it from the observation for now. 0054 SC commercial power is back. FRM now seems to be behaving normally. Antenna is pointing fine. I called Greg back; looks like he won't need to go out, after all, unless it happens again. 0127-0129 *SC stowed due to power glitch. Went back COM 100 2 on generator briefly. 0345-0349 *SC autostowed. Power glitch. COM 100 4 It's also gotten a number of very brief "AZ #1 armature/electronics CB fault" errors since coming off generator power. 0445 HN raining. 0457 End.
