     0812  HN noticed that recording at the start of the file                   
           began on drive 1, which was reserved by previous                     
           operator - he had question if the tape was actually                  
           ready for use for observation. The site tech had                     
           prepassed the tape and left it on the drive                          
           unmounted. Previous operator mounted the tape and                    
           reserved the drive. The observe file has                             
           autocallocate set to off which explains why                          
           recording started up on drive 1 even though it had                   
           been reserved.
