The station files look fine, but I notice that if we use today's LST date, 59580, there are some warnings about OJ287 being within 9.5 degrees of the sun. I don't think this is a major problem, the recommended safe distance for 4cm is 17 degrees. But if you are concerned about this, please let us know. best regards, Lisa Foley NRAO Data Analyst ----------------------- Date: Wed, 13 Aug 2003 15:00:02 -0700 (PDT) From: Dayton Jones To: vlbiobs@nrao.edu Cc: dj@sgra.jpl.nasa.gov Subject: Re: Keyin file for BW062B Hi. Thank you for catching the near-sun warning for one of our sources. As this is an astrometry experiment, I think it would be safer if we delayed scheduling the observations until OJ287 is at least 15 degrees from the sun. Thank you very much. Cheers, Dayton (dj@sgra.jpl.nasa.gov)
