Richard and Anupreeta,

I have been meaning to get back to you about the VLA observations.
I think that the analysts sent you a quick msg that we think what you
wanted (phasing the entire array, but recording only the signal from the
inner three antennas) is certainly do-able ... it just takes some care on
the part of the operators to make the proper changes to system files on
the VLA on-line system --- we will carefully instruct them.   However, I 
just wanted to make sure that you do realize that the sensitivity of the 
VLA thus recorded will be more like a single antenna rather than the full 
sensitivity of the entire phased VLA. (I'm assuming that you do, indeed, 
realize this.)  I understand that you had some earlier email conversation
with Joan Wrobel about this.  If you have any other questions, please
let me know.

Hello,

I am Ms. Anupreeta More, PI of the project BM241. I would like to inform you 
that I have deposited all the necessary schedule files on the NRAO ftp area. 

I am also observing with the phased VLA. Since I need a wide
synthesized beam for my observations, I would like to have only the  
innermost antenna of each arm included in the array for phasing up.

I would, however, like to have the VLA synthesis data for the full VLA.
