Perreault 1536-1700 %FD there were several large jumps in the delay from the Cable cal signal. These jumps are up to 80 ps in duration. 1536-1726 *KP AZ motor currents are high and the motor current 18142 100 110 sum has jumped several times over 60 amps. Called site tech, we both monitored the ACU screen, there are continued high AZ motor currents and an AZ tracking error of over 1 minute of arc. Antenna is experiencing AZ oscillations. Have removed from observing, site tech is going out to check on the antenna. 1536-2306 %Y BBC5 total power about 50% normal. BBC 13 58 1536-2306 %Y BBC7 total power varying from slightly out of BBC 13 58 range to 50% of normal power. 1711 KP site tech onsite, wea: clear, no precipitation 1721 KP site tech can find nothing wrong with antenna in MANUAL mode. Putting antenna into observing so he can monitor. 1731 KP site tech called, can't find anything wrong. He suspects that there may be a bit problem with the AZ encoder around AZ -100d. He will continue to watch for about another 45 minutes to see if the problem repeats. He suggests that if this happens again to put the antenna into STANDBY, move it off source, then back on, and resume pointing. 1748 MK joins 1748-2301 *MK loss of all RCP data following MCB (Master 18138 50 156 Control Bus) errors.
