Perreault 0730-0806 %Y total power for BBCs 2 and 3 are low. BBC2 is OTHER 50 18 set to 591.61 MHz, BBC3 set to 800.41 - both are out of range for the VLA (600-650 MHz). The total power for BBC is only slightly low while BBC 3 is about 5% of normal power. 0753-0757 *Y obsering program aborted. Unknown as to why. OTHER 100 4 Called VLA operator, they have no problems such as a loss of power. Have issued a reboot of the VME computer to see if observing will restart. 0801-0806 *SC autostowed. Power glitch. Repointed. COM 100 5 0806-0807 *KP EL#1 armature overcurrent error condition ACU 100 1 cleared by momentarily disabling the EL axis. 0806-1248 %Y BBCs 5,6,7,8 are now set up and have total OTHER 50 141 power across all BBCs that are about 10% - 20% of normal. Frequency set up is within range (BBCs 5,6 at 618.41 MHz, BBCs 7,8 at 610.41 MHz). 1248-1314 %Y Change in BBC frequencies. BBC 3 is back to OTHER 63 16 800.41 MHz, while BBCs 5 & 6 are at 627.39 MHz and BBCs 7 & 8 are at 635.39 MHz. BBCs 3,5,6,7,8 have low total power. 1314-1347 %Y BBCs 5,6,7,8 low total power. BBCs 5 & 6 OTHER 50 16 at 618.41 MHz, BBCs 7 & 8 at 610.41 MHz. 1339 New operator is Jim Ogle. 1347 *Y now has normal total power levels on all BBCs even though there was not any kind of setup change. I did start up a new screen for Y, perhaps the screen was not refreshing properly earlier and giving a false impression of how long the power levels were low? 1508 %High wind gusts at KP. 1549-1550 *KP autostowed, probably from wind gusts. Repointed. WEA 100 1 1656 BR now writing to NRAO-175 in bank A. 1839-1841 *HN rotation very slow in getting on position. FRM 100 2 1839-1927 %Y BBC#3 back to being set at 800.41 MHz and having OTHER 12 5 bad total power levels as a result. All other BBCs are looking fine though. 1927 End.
