Perreault 2042 &SC oncall tech is on site. There is a UPSA battery 17992 alarm. Observing is not being affected. 2113-2122 Intermittant loss of communication with all sites. This happened yesterday too. Comm will go out then come back. Suspect someone is working on the phone and Internet system at NM Tech. (Comm is lost while on dial backup as well, which indicates a phone issue.) Helpdesk ticket submitted. 2127-2141 Loss of comm again. 2204-2217 Loss of comm again. 2225-2250 Loss of comm again. Went on dial backup for all sites. Doesn't matter - still getting loss of comm with sites even when on dial backup. 2250-2302 Loss of comm again. Contacted George Martin. He said that he hadn't heard about any phone work with NM Tech. He also said that the traceroute dying where it does may be an indication that something is wrong with Jansky (VLBA Ops Sun Workstation). He will check the network out to see if there are any issues. 2309-2325 Loss of comm again. 2327-2337 Loss of comm again. 2330 George called back. He said that he was also having problems getting onto the AOC systems either through the Internet, or through the line that connects to Charlottesville. He doesn't know if the problem is with on of our routers or with NM Tech. 0000 Date is 2006APR10/100. 0054 OV cryo compressor A supply pressure is at 194 17993 and dropping.
