The antenna turns on this track,
called the azimuth rotation track. It can turn a full 540
degrees before it must turn back the other way to "unwrap" the
cables (below) that carry the information to the electronics in
the antenna building.
This photograph was taken in a small room next to the pedestal room where the
cables are housed.
